We have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Test Analyst to join our award-winning IT team based at our head office in Liverpool.We are looking for a Test Analyst to develop and execute testing that will include functional, performance & non-functional testing to ensure product quality. As a Test Analyst you will work with the QA and development teams in building enterprise softwaresolutions. What youll be doing As the Test Analyst, you will complete testing across new functionality, select suitable regression testing that will be against releases within an Agile environment; you will work closely with Developers, Solution Designers and Testers within a collaborativeenvironment. In addition to these duties, you will be responsible for the following:

• Understanding the data profiles for all systems to accurately replicate live scenarios to drive out defects.
• Assessing changes to understand the functional and non-functional requirements, including any performance testing.
• Designing and performing end-to-end tests, with a view to using formal test techniques, such as Risk Based and Exploratory Testing.
• Contribute to maintaining environments, services and network virtual systems that let teams test and develop independently of one another.
• Reviewing and testing cross-system concerns holistically.
• Ensuring functional and automated testing is provided for all technical change.

What you need to show us As a Test Analyst you should have a strong understanding and hands on experience of working with APIs, Databases, integration layer technology such as Kafka. Also, you will have a background and knowledge of the full SDLC. You must have a minimum of 3 yearsworking in Agile with knowledge of BDD, this is so you understand how why, and when testing is suitable and beneficial to the project you are working on. You will also be able to demonstrate the following:

• Expert in software testing.
• Proven experience in Agile delivery methodologies.
• Experience of Backend and Integration testing.
• Working to deliver within a Continuous Delivery Pipeline.
• Knowledge of testing in a Micro services environment.
• Has a broad knowledge of testing activities and techniques and is able to perform testing within an Enterprise IT environment.
• Shows a good understanding of the software engineering life cycle for development and the concepts required to implement effective systems.
• Evaluates risks based on test results and clearly communicate any potential issues to their line management.
• Provides advice, guidance and assistance in regards testing to less experienced colleagues as required.
• The ability to work well as part of a project team & work within the assigned squad.
• Knowledge of corporate, industry and professional testing standards.
• The Role will require the individual to work closely with Business Users to ensure the requirements are fully tested, and the Business Acceptance of any project work is managed.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced flexible delivery team.
• Shows a disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving.
• Consistently meets deadlines and informs line management of any slippage.
• Has effective inter-personal and communication skills.
• Ensures that adequate documentation is produced and maintained.
• Takes an active part in meetings with clients/users/development staff during system investigations and throughout subsequent development work.
• Reports personal progress against plans.
• Is capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of relevant application development tools.
• Knowledge of operating infrastructure.
• Familiar with structured reviews.

You should be familiar with the following

• Knowledge of Jenkins and Continuous Delivery.
• Knowledge of Selenium and Cucumber Test Framework.
• Knowledge of Mobile App Testing and automation with Appium and Cucumber.
• Knowledge of API Automation Karate API or RestAssured.
• Knowledge of Oracle systems such as Apex and Fusion.
• Knowledge of coding Languages such as C#, Java, C++.
• Knowledge of Web Based technologies.
• Knowledge of Database Languages such as MySQL, SQL. Server, Oracle, Informix, Mongo DB.
• Knowledge of Windows and Unix Operating Systems.
• Knowledge of performance test tools Gatling, eggplant.
• Knowledge of Data Streaming technologies such as Kafka.
