Job Description

Edstaff are a leading independent supply agency based in the North West. During these testing times Edstaff are already looking ahead to when schools reopen and are actively recruiting for positions for our Client Schools for after the current lock down.We are recruiting for a Teacher of Business Studies and Economics for a long term position.This is a very exciting opportunity for the right candidate, and will involve teaching Business Studies to GCSE and Economics to ALevel. The school is based in the Liverpool area and has a strong and very supportive Business Studies department.If you are passionate about your subject and determined to impart knowledge, skills and understanding to all our young people, whilst engaging them in their learning, then we want to hear from you!Applications would be welcomed from NQTs and more experienced teachers looking for their next teaching opportunity.The successful candidate must be fully available to start after February half term and the position is for maternity cover, until the end of the school year.All candidates must hold QTS or QTLS, and possess recent experience teaching the UK National Curriculum (references are required).All applicants must either hold an up to date DBS disclosure on the update service or be prepared to undertake a full enhanced DBS (formerly CRB) check prior to placement.
