Job Description

Supply Chain Planning Manager£45,000 to £55,000LiverpoolRole ProfileA busy manufacturing company in Liverpool is looking to recruit a Planning Manager for an ASAP start.This role will suit an experienced Planning Manager with end-to-end supply chain experience within manufacturing / production environments.Key responsibilities for this Planning Manager role include:

  • Overseeing all planning processes for a busy manufacturing operation including production planning, material scheduling and inventory management
  • Defining customer lead times
  • Playing a leading role in the companys S&OP process
  • Coordinating all relevant internal departments to ensure customer orders are met on time and in full
  • Managing the planning team including coaching and appraisals
  • Implementing process improvements to further streamline production planning and material planning procedures
    • Skills & ExperienceThe successful candidate will demonstrate:
  • Proven planning experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Expertise in Production Planning, Material Scheduling, Inventory Planning and S&OP
  • Excellent Excel skills and good analytical ability
  • Strong ERP system experience
  • Proven stakeholder engagement
  • Passion for continuous improvements and process efficiencies
