Job Description

SQL DeveloperRemote work / Part remote and on-site in Manchester if preferred PermanentSalary is up to £55k + benefitsIm currently looking for A technically focused SQL Developer who will be working on large systems and be involved with the departments most critical and complex systems. My client is a large-scale end-user looking for a talented SQL Developer. Youll be joining their fast-growing SQL Development team.The role will involve taking very large data sets from disparate sources. From a technical perspective, we need narrow and deep skills within SQL Server: specialism in T-SQL, Indexing, SQL Server internals (ideally), understanding of execution plans, and optimising code.40-hour week, Monday to Friday and you can work fully remotely or, if you are happy to do so you can work on-site 2-3 times a month depending on location.What Im looking for -

  • Extensive commercial database development experience.
  • Working with complex OLTP data models.
  • Advanced T-SQL and execution plan analysis skills.
  • Extremely methodical with high attention to detail.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL Server performance monitoring, query turning and SQL Server Internals.
  • Ability to work to deadlines in a continually changing, reactive environment.
  • SSIS and SSRS skills will also be used but we dont need expert-level knowledge here and full training will be given.
