SQL Database Administrator A leading Financial Services company is looking to hire a SQL Database Administrator. You would be responsible for; * Performance and tuning of the SQL environment which is hosted both on-premise and in Azure. * Ensuring the AzureSQL environment is monitored, identify changed required to optimise and working with development teams to engineer reoccurring problems * Providing technical SQL expertise and support for all SQL database issues Therefore, they are looking for candidates withthe following skills and experiences; * Previous experience working in a Hybrid enterprise Azure SQL environment * Experience with Microsoft server version 2008 R2 and above: * SQL server maintenance, scheduling and alerting * SQL server installation, configuration,patching and upgrading * TSQL or powershell scripting experience would be desirable * MCSA SQL Server Qualification is highly desirable SQL Database Administrator
