Acorn is searching for a Site Logistics Coordinator to join our client, a manufacturer based in Liverpool.Reporting to the Site Manager, the purpose of the role is take responsibility for goods entering the site whilst also ensuring the right products are delivered to the right location on time, to the quality required and in the most cost-effective way.Duties will include:* Raising jobs daily for UK distribution via a third-party haulier using their portal, ensuring correct labels and delivery notes are used for each order.* Plan collections of bulk stock from a tank storage facility, this will involve raising of pre-authorisations and confirmation of collection after delivery back to site. * Monitor bookings for deliveries to the site and subsequently receipt in the stock once it arrives to site and has been put away ensuring warehouse locations and batch numbers are entered correctly onto the system* For Export bulk collections and containers, you will ensure vehicles are weighed in and out of site and raise the necessary paperwork for the collections.* Responsible for inductions onto site for drivers and visitors.* Procurement of certain items including packaging, maintenance supplies and general site PPE, whilst actively looking for cost savings if they are possible.It is essential that the successful candidate has previous experience working within a similar role within an operational environment. Knowledge and competence in filling out export paperwork, along with experience working with hazardous chemicals would bea distinct advantage. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8am - 4:30pm.Salary is negotiable dependent on experience to offer. Acorn Recruitment acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment.
