This role is a position that will allow the successful person to make a demonstrable impact within a world-leading organisation which maintains a family feel.Come and join the EMR family, a world of opportunity awaits.Key Responsibilities

  • To improve Risk Management processes and build a world class Safe System of Work, developing a team approach to reduce the risk around routine and non-routine operational and engineering tasks.
  • Provide leadership for the delivery of environmental compliance, building a culture of development and understanding within the Management teams.
  • Coordination of SHE training requirements, priorities and implementation
  • Implement the strategic targets for the region, delivering SHE performance improvements and a safety first culture.
  • About You
  • Demonstrable experience in a leadership role with the ability to influence culture change in Health, Safety & Environment
  • Ability to identify and create a vision/strategy along with plans which need to be implemented to reach short and long term goals.
  • Excellent communication skills - the ability to adopt a range of styles, tools and techniques appropriate to the audience and the nature of information
  • Root cause analysis skills and experience
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • A natural team player
  • Special requirements:
  • Need to be able to travel to sites within the North West region.
