We have an exciting opportunity available for a Service Delivery Advisor tojoin our Liverpool office. You will join us on a full-time basis. To offer the customer and other Agencies a high level of communication at all times to ensure we are offering a quality service.Your responsibilities as our Service Delivery Advisor will include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service for any general telephone/e-mail enquiries
  • Dealing with customer complaints professionally and ensuring management is aware of the details
  • Managing idle containers using the relevant system, keeping customs up to date with details of containers and ensuring the Head Office Idle container process is followed fully
  • Ensuring customers are notified of all respective charges for idle containers and invoices are raised
  • Liaising with our Head Office, Sales and Customer Services teams both in the UK and overseas in order to resolve idle container situation
  • Maintaining a high level of accuracy for all functions ensuring a clear audit trail is recorded
  • Keeping the Senior Advisor / Manager appraised of ongoing situations and problems for appropriate action to be implemented
  • Arranging destruction of abandoned cargo as required
  • Arranging salvage of abandoned cargo as required
  • Producing relevant reports for Senior Advisor / Management
To become our Service Delivery Advisor, youll need:
  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent (with a minimum of Grade C or equivalent in Mathematics and English)
  • Knowledge of the Shipping industry is desirable
  • Computer literate
  • Professional confident telephone manner.
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure
  • The ability to establish & maintain good relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Good attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • The flexibility to work out-of-hours when necessary / required
  • Shipping / Freight Forwarding experience is beneficial
