Are you an experienced purification chemist looking to fast track your career and develop your management skills for the future in a clinical research organisation then this opportunity is for you!My client is looking for a strong scientist who is motivated and wants to harness tomorrows challenges and be instrumental in the development of high quality pharmaceuticals within an international company. The successful candidate will have a minimum ofthree years experience in method development for prep-HPLC and possibly have experience manipulating small molecules, peptides and sugars. Previous experience in a parallel synthesis laboratory would be preferred but is not essential as training will be provided.The role as a Senior purification chemist has arisen due to expansion of the team and the successful candidate should have a BSc/MSc chemistry qualification or relevant discipline. You will be responsible for the LC-MS machine and its service for the chemistryteam and will keep accurate records of research and project related activities. The successful candidate will be experienced in method development/HPLC purification and you will be working on the mg scale on both normal and chiral stationary phase moleculesIf this sounds of interest and you are highly motivated and want to be instrumental in the development of high quality drugs in order to bring new treatments to market quicker, this is certainly an opportunity that you cannot miss.In addition this role is to strengthen their UK analytical department and you will play an important position within the team and there is the potential to progress in the future and become a team leader.
