They are looking to recruit an experienced Programme Manager to lead this programme, working cross-functionally to ensure that the new facility becomes operational within specified timescales and to budget.Client DetailsNiche manufacturing organisation, based near Liverpool in the North West. This role will require c4 days a week on site.DescriptionWhilst this is a role focused on "operationalising" a new factory, my client is not looking to recruit a Construction/Facilities Programme Manager. They are looking to recruit a "business-facing" Senior Programme Manager who can coordinate activities acrossa number of workstreams, including: Procurement, Sourcing, Utilities, Logistics, Technology, People, Engineering etc. to ensure that all business requirements for the new facility are understood and factored in to the overarching programme plan. This is likelyto be an 18+ month fixed term contract. This individual will be expected to manage all risks and issues and will coordinate change management and communications activity (but will not run this). It would be desirable for the Senior Programme manager to have a background in Engineering and/or estatestransformation. The Senior Programme Manager will report directly to the COO and will be responsible for the successful delivery of the programme. They will work cross-functionally with both internal stakeholders and external 3rd parties, managing resources, deliveringtimely reporting and coordinating and supervising all activities to ensure that the programme is delivered on time and to budget. They will also be responsible for providing the Executive team and other stakeholders with regular reports and updates on anyrisks and issues. In addition, the Senior Programme Manager will lead on the design of both the new factory and back-office/corporate layout/fit out, ensuring alignment to the strategic objectives of the company.ProfileTo be successful in your application, you must have the following skills and experience:
