This will be achieved through the effective management of the European Logistics TMS and suppliers. This role is partof the European Logistics Commercial team, and by working alongside the Commercial Manager(s), will also provide exceptional procurement solutions for customers and the European Logistics business.Key Accountabilities1. Systems Management The jobholder is responsible for configuring, setting up, and effectively using the European Logistics Transport Management System (TMS). This includes the creation and maintenance of rate tariffs within the rates management moduleof the TMS and working with the European Logistics customer service group to ensure that the TMS is utilised correctly and delivers maximum efficiency to the business.2. Procurement Working within the European Logistics Commercial team, the jobholder will work with the Commercial Manager(s) on procurement events for existing and potential new business, and will also be expected to lead their own events as agreed. Therole will also act as the link between the European Logistics Commercial team and rates management team.3. Supplier Management and Compliance The role will play an essential part in ensuring that all European Logistics suppliers take part in an effective review program and meet all compliance requirements. The job holder will be responsible for the ownershipof the European Logistics approved supplier list, supplier review schedule and supplier audit schedule, and will be required to work with the European Logistics Commercial and Customer Service teams, as well as the HSSE team, to ensure an effective programis maintained at all times.4. Business Intelligence and Reporting As required the individual will provide the European Logistics management team with meaningful business intelligence reports to drive business performance (through the use of SAP Business Objects and other systems).This may include assisting with designing customer and supplier KPIs, via efficient and professional solutions, and providing visibility and measurement of key activities (including both transactional and non-transactional business).5.
