Job Description

Leading a small team, this role will take ownership of producing afull set of monthly management accounts as well as undergoing detailed financial analysis to aid decision making.The main responsibility of the Senior Management Accountant include:

  • Oversee the production of management accounts, completing any complex reconciliations, reviewing first drafts, and adding commentary.
  • Creating monthly reporting packs to be presented to the Head of Finance, translating the monthly accounts into analysis on key performance indicators.
  • Partnering with a range of stakeholders to lead on the budgeting and forecasting processes, building strong relationships to implement strong financial management.
  • Creating and maintaining robust financial models.
  • Playing a crucial role in the monitoring of significant overheads in key areas, investigating and implement ways to drive efficiencies.
  • Line management of a small team, providing training and development to ensure the team reaches their full potential.

  • Either a fully qualified accountant or finalist (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/equivalent).
