Job Description

A modern, forward-thinking Fire Consultancy is on the hunt for a seasoned Senior Fire Engineer to enhance their vibrant team. Based in a bustling consultancy renowned for its cutting-edge methodologies and unwavering dedication to fire engineering excellence,this role offers the chance to engage with high-profile sectors such as Commercial High-Rise and Residential. This consultancy leads the way in delivering innovative fire safety and engineering solutions.The Senior Fire Engineers RoleThe newly appointed Senior Fire Engineer will be instrumental within the firm, collaborating directly with the Head of Fire Engineering. This role requires a hands-on approach to overseeing a broad spectrum of projects, spanning a variety of sizes and sectors,and places a premium on leadership skills for mentoring junior Fire Engineers and team management. A robust grasp of compliance with fire regulations and the flexibility to navigate forthcoming industry shifts are critical to this position.The Senior Fire Engineer

  • Boasts at least 4 years of Fire Engineering experience, evidencing a successful and knowledgeable career.
  • Is either a Chartered Engineer in fire or is actively pursuing chartered status, reflecting a dedication to ongoing professional growth.
  • Holds a degree in Fire Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a similar field, laying a solid technical groundwork.
  • Exhibits proven team management skills, showcasing leadership and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Is skilled in FREAWs (Pas 9980) and adept at conducting client-facing meetings, highlighting excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Demonstrates extensive expertise in both the Residential and Commercial sectors, ensuring a well-rounded industry perspective.
  • Possesses an entrepreneurial mindset, with experience in business development, promoting expansion, and cultivating strategic partnerships.
