Job Description

SEND 1:1 Teaching AssistantKnowsleyDo you have experience working with SEN childrenMilk Education is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiasticTeaching Assistant as a classroom support for a temporary position for a primary school in Rainhill. This active role will involve a student with autism on 1 to 1 basis supporting their learningand providing additional support including personal care needs, mobility, daily routine support, and communication.Experience of working in a Teaching Assistant role in an SEN environment with children with complex needs is preferred but not essential. If you are passionate about providing learning and support, have the right attitude, and share our values, then wedlike to hear from you!Ourregistration processat Milk-Education issuper easy, all done online 4 simple stepsand can be worked around out of school hours. Our target is to have teachers cleared and vetted within48 hours- no hasslefor you!What you need to apply:

  • Previous experience working with SEN children, or young adults (Voluntary welcome)
  • Confidence dealing with pupils with different abilities and SEND requirements
  • A good knowledge of the National Curriculum or be confident in supporting with particular subjects is desirable
  • Good interpersonal and communicational skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to complete this)
  • Enthusiastic attitude towards inspiring children
