Reed Secure are working with a higher education authority in Liverpool they have an exciting opportunity for a Campus Support Officer to join them at their campus based in Liverpool.This position will ideally suit someone who has extensive security guard and CCTV experience with a passion for the industry and the ability to commit to the role long term.Experience within the public sector isadvantageous due to the nature of the client however not essential.As a Campus Support Officer, you will be integral to the management of the buildings, facilities, open spaces, Security, and thefleet. Campus Services focus on front of house delivery to internal and external stakeholders. Driving is required as part ofthis role you will have access to the patrol car therefore a full clean UK driving licence is required.The role is responsible for supporting staff, students, and visitors in providing security related and customer services so individuals who have an approachable, happy, and supportive demeanour are sought.Your roleis vital to the Campus Services team, you will be highly valued and rewarded with a salary of £20,092 - £22,254 plus 12.5% shift allowance and great benefits that include, generous annual leave, pension travel benefits, season tickets, cycle to workscheme, well being support, professional development, opportunity to give back to your local community schemes, various discounts with local businesses and establishments.This is a full-time position working on alternating day/ night shift pattern of 4 shifts on, 4 shifts off.Key duties include. Proactive customer services support, providing assistance for general enquiries, security and safety issues. Response service to security incidents and emergencies across all campus areas. Provide immediate investigation in the event of fire alarms activation Engage with intruders/unauthorised persons and disorders Monitor access to buildings and the University ID Card Policy. Operation of the organisations Security Control and Communication Centre. Monitoring CCTV, alarm and access control systems, Complete security reports and maintain security support systems. Upholdfulfilment toPrevent Duty, reporting issues of concern to the Team Leader and Supervisor. Act as a designated first aider and evacuation chair operator Provide an out of hours janitorial service to toilets, circulation and social spaces, entrance areas and external spaces Undertake regular monitoring of internal communal areas, ensuring areas are well maintained, presentable and free from litter and debris. Undertake building security patrols. Carry out searches ofpremises/vehicles/staff or students Enforce compliance with theCar Parking Policy..Report defects, hazards and other Health and Safety issues to the Helpdesk to ensure timely repairs Estate and Facilities Management Helpdesk out of hours, Ensure the campus is opened and closed at agreed times, Carry out special duties in connection with Graduation, open days, University events and covert operations. The driving and maintenance of Security vehicles Cover reception, as required. Provide cover for the Team Leader as required. Demonstrate the highest standards of customer care in all aspects of the role to all students, staff and visitors.
