Job Description

We are currently recruiting aScientific Business Development Manager for a scientific business specialising in biofilm, scientific testing services and in developing new products for medical/pharmaceutical/cosmetics and FMCG sector. Thebusiness is mostly dealing with big international organizations.We need someone who will grow the business across current and new areas of business expertise and have an identifiable scientific background.Salary: negotiable, depending on experience + annual bonus + commissionOffice: Liverpool (flexible working1 day a week in the office)Sector: ScientificEstimated Start: November/December 2021Criteria:-You will need to be an experienced sales professional with a proven track record in growing new business-You will need to have a professional background or educational understanding from ideally one of the following: scientific, biology, biofilm, microbiology, virology, antimicrobial, medical devices-You will need to have a scientific degree: biology, science, chemistry, etc.Key responsibilities:- Respond to enquiries- Build strong relationships with new and existing clients- Enter new markets where business can be developed- Deliver complex sales across the business in your area- Attending events, fairs and trade shows- Conducting companies and market research- Working with internal and external stakeholdersThe business is looking for someone who will grow with the company and someone who will organically help to grow the sales department.
