Job Description

Job Title: Quality SupervisorLocation: Liverpool, L20 8DFSalary: NegotiableJob Type: Permanent, Full TimeHours: 7:30am - 4:30pm (Mon - Thurs), 7:30am - 3:30pm (Fri)S&B Herba Foods Ltd is a leading Rice and Pulses business in the UK (part of the Ebro Foods Group) serving the wholesale, retail and food manufacturing industries.The Role:We are looking to recruit a Quality Supervisor to work at our Mill in Bootle, Liverpool. The role involves the following:

  • Maintaining the Companys Quality System to ensure it meets the BRC Standards which we are audited against each year.
  • Taking an active role in the BRC Audit and Customer Audits
  • Overseeing the HACCP Plans to ensure they are relevant and up to date
  • Ensuring GMP procedures are reviewed and being adhered to.
  • Conducting as well as overseeing Internal Audits, and liaising with Management in terms of corrective actions, where appropriate.
  • Maintaining the testing programme for the Raw Material and Finished Product ensuring it meets the relevant schedule standards in terms of Microbiological, mycotoxins etc.
  • Overseeing the pest control function in conjunction with the provider
  • Overseeing the Hygiene function in terms of reportees and in terms of supplies and PPE.
  • Assist colleagues in investigating non-conformances and complaints.
About you:
  • Graduate calibre looking for their first Management Role
  • Has worked in Manufacturing. Experience of the Food Manufacturing sector will be more desirable.
  • Qualified/or has received training in carrying out audits
  • Has been HACCP trained or has worked with HACCP in the past 3 years.
  • Thrives in working in a fast, busy environment where attention to detail and accuracy is key.
