Job Description

QA TesterLiverpool£40,000ShortList Recruitment are looking for a QA Tester to join a fantastic softwarehouse based in Liverpool city centre.The QA Tester will be required to build and maintain manual and automated testsuites,targeting front-end mobile and desktop applications. At least 12months automation testing experience is desirable.Responsibilities for the QA Tester:

  • Automate testing using Selenium Web Driver and Cucumber /Gherkin / SpecFlow to ensure that web software matches the requirements.
  • Be responsible for maintaining, enhancing and runningautomation testing.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured testplans for manual testing, and execute these manual tests when required.
  • Be meticulous about documentation and maintaining a robustlog of all test cases and test results and log failures/defects appropriately.
  • Report regular feedback to the QA Lead on the status ofcoverage and quality.
    • Key requirements for the QA Tester:
  • Demonstrable automation testing skills, with at least 12months automation testing experience using Selenium Web Driver and Cucumber /Gherkin / Specflow or similar.
  • ISTQB or similar software testing qualification.
  • Development skills in C# .Net (MVC / REST APIs), HTML5 /CSS.
  • REST API Integration testing using Postman or similar.
  • Non-functional testing using JMeter, Gatling, NeoLoad orLoadRunner.
  • Experience of testing enterprise applications deployed tocloud environments.
  • Experience of working in an agile software environment.
