Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a top 5 UK Accountancy Practice who require aPurchase to Pay Assistantto join the Accounts Payable department on an assignment likely to run for at least 3 months (please note there may be potential permanent opportunities for the right candidate after the 3 months.)Our client offer unrivalled development opportunities, a fantastic working environment, agile working and efficient training &support.So if you are currently available straight away, or maybe in a role that only requires a week or two notice please do read on.Purchase to Pay Assistantswork on the timely delivery of services, whilst being supervised and supported by senior members of the team. It is an opportunity to gain an understanding of the accounts payable department by supporting the creditcontrol and supplier invoice processes leading through to supplier payments. Youll also:

  • Support the central finance function of the business with the end to end accounts payable processes
  • Process invoices and resolve stalled invoices due to stakeholder/supplier issues
  • Running aged debtor reports and liaising with stakeholders and suppliers
  • Progress inbound and outbound supplier/stakeholder phone calls and email communication
  • Work both independently and as part of a team to provide these processes, ensuring stakeholders and suppliers are provided with excellent service
  • Support peers and senior members of the team with any work requirements, ensuring tasks assigned are completed within SLA
