Job Description

Purchase Ledger Clerk - Liverpool - To £22 - 24,000 doe + benefits - Free Parking - Hybrid workingAbout the companyA large successful logistics business who have an opportunity for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team.Your new roleThe successful Accounts Payable Clerk / Accounts Assistant duties are:

  • Input of invoices, taking ownership for quantity and prices
  • Payment runs
  • Process all purchases (supplier invoices) and refunds (credit notes)
  • Account all of VAT on invoices
  • Maintain supplier accounts
  • Reconcile supplier accounts
  • Deal with supplier account queries
  • Resolve any issues
What youll need to succeedYou will be confident with IT systems including Excel and Word and have experience of using an accounting reporting package.Required experience in a purchase ledger/accounts payable role, good attention to detail, proven ability to work to tight deadlines, and good communication skills being able liaise effectively with both customers and internal colleagues.
