Job Description

  • Identify and monitor projectrisksand issues. Develop mitigating actions and escalate as appropriate.
  • Ensure strategic and operationalrisksand issues are identified, prioritised, assessed and mitigation actions developed, implemented and monitored throughout the life of the project.
  • Ensure seniorstakeholdersare briefed, updated and where appropriate, enrolled in the management and control of keyrisks.
  • Provide all reporting as required by the Project Director.
  • Track and report delivery against milestones.
  • Manage performance and report progress to sponsors.
  • Establish and maintain project controls, keeping the Project Director aware of the project status. Prepare project performance reports, presenting statistics and researching new information.
  • Quality assures the dependency management process, work with seniorstakeholdersto resolve issues and act as a link between the programme and business governance.
  • Identify, develop and share best practice project management processes, tools and templates
  • Essential:

  • Experience in working on projects throughout the various stages of the project lifecycle.

  • Ability to work and act under own initiative under pressure and be creative in tackling challenges and finding solutions
  • Experience of working in a busy, evolving environment
  • Strong communication skills, including communicating to different levels and groups in the organisation
