Job Description

RotheramCarrington Recruitment Group are pleased to be supporting a well-established organisation based near Liverpool who are seeking a Project Accountant for a period of 12 months to support finance with regards to an ongoing budget modelproject. This would be to address a gap in the teams experience and have the capacity to maintain and update a financial model that links into business planning and budget outputs. This opportunity has arisen due to an increased workload and as this pieceof work is an integral part of the organisations management information the business has created an opportunity for someone to be fully focused on the budget model process.This would need someone who is comfortable with financial models and finding their way around, as well as instructing advisors with regards to any changes that may arise.Skills/Experience

  • CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified or equivalent experience
  • Available to start in the next 4 weeks and will commit to the full length of the contract, this business has a good track record of extending contract or making permanent
  • Competent management accountant with experience of designing and building financial models
  • Advanced Excel and analytical skills essential
  • Excellent communicator as you will be speaking to various key stakeholders across the business to get the relevant information that needs to go into the budget model
  • Team player, someone who wants to go that extra mile and help or support their team if required
Whats on Offer
  • £50,000 to £58,000 per annum, pro-rata 12 month FTC
  • Hybrid working available but must be happy to work on-site in the early stages just to understand what the role entails
  • 37.5 Hours per week
  • Holidays 27 plus bank holidays, pro rata FTC (can buy and sell holidays)
  • Pension 10% matching contributions (employee pays up to 10% on a salary sacrifice basis and the company matches)
  • Life assurance (comes with the pension)
