About Us With over 40 years of success, Centriforce Products develops and produces recycled plastics for the UK and international markets. Our plastics are transformed into a wide range of innovative products, from cable covers used by utility companies to nesting boxes for owls. We’re currently looking for a number of Production Operators to join our team, working a shift pattern of 4 on 4 off, 2 days and 2 nights. Reporting to the Shift Manager, you will: - Carry out all tasks in line with health, safety and environmental procedures - Ensure that products are being made to the correct standard/specification- Complete hourly check sheets consistently and accurately- Perform impact and quality tests - Ensure that machines are running to the correct/optimised parameters - Provide effective handovers for the next team - Assist with engineering requests and handovers - Support product trials/projects - Report machinery faults, process limitations and improvement ideas - Help to train new Operators About You To join us as a Production Operator, you’ll need: - The ability to use your initiative and accurately follow instructions - The willingness to learn and undertake training to increase your expertise - Excellent communication and teamworking skills The successful candidates must also be committed to work to the company core values of honesty and integrity, teamwork, performance, personal accountability and customer focus. Experience within the plastic extrusion industry would be beneficial to your application.
