Job Description

We are working with a highly successful company who are looking for a Product Technologist to join their dynamic team, working across ranges of Electricals and Toys.The Product Technologist will be responsible for:

  • Logging and tracking new samples, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards
  • Work closely with the buying team on new product development
  • Liaising closely with factories and suppliers to ensure they are clear on safety standards and regulations
  • Carry out testing and compile testing reports
  • Ensuring all products within the range are compliant
The Product Technologist will also be heavily involved in analysing customer complaints and reasons for return as well as carrying out regular legislation appraisals.The ideal candidate for the Product Technologist role will have previous experience within a very similar role with excellent communication and organisational skills.
