Job Description

Our business isn’t like any other business and you’ll love our people - we’re a friendly bunch.Your role as a Product Performance Manager will involve you identifying opportunities and lead corrective actions to drive product experience improvement. You will leverage past performance data in conjunction with proactive partnership with Merchandising for new and unique products or product categories.In this role you will lead the Product Performance Team in the design, maintenance and execution of all aspects of the product experience and user lab program, in alignment with product quality objectives. There will also be the opportunity to lead & support process & performance improvement projects to continually improve operational effectiveness and the customer experience. Whilst developing and delivering effective reporting to the business that highlights performance improvement opportunities, activities, and results.The ideal candidate will have the following essentials:

  • Ability to read, analyse and interpret customer feedback and product performance data in order to identify key themes and improvement opportunities.
  • Ability to develop and deliver effective and persuasive presentations or written communications to vendors, buyers and leadership.
  • Strong product technical knowledge across at least consumer goods category such as Fashion, Home & Textiles, Hardgoods, Electronics, Cosmetics, Food and Ingestible , to effectively assess products for predictable patterns of performance, customer expectations and potential failures.
  • Strong leadership experience as this role will be managing eight direct reports of varying skill level
  • Experienced in/ knowledge of manufacturing processes, product risk assessment, retail sourcing and/or auditing
  • Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Self-starter with strong ability to identify and prioritise product experience opportunities and drive improvement actions with little to no supervision.

  • Methodical approach with excellent planning and organization skills are required in order to achieve the various responsibilities and work concurrently on multiple tasks.
  • Strong collaboration and positive influencing skills
  • Assertiveness, ability to work autonomously and tenacity are crucial to the role
  • The following experience would be an advantage:
  • Product Testing or Product compliance experience
