Fundamental to this is the provision of good quality housing that people are proud to call their home.What will your role beAs their Procurement and Supplier Management Lead, you will advise and support colleagues across the organisation in designing and implementing effective procurement solutions that deliver value and compliance. You will take collective responsibility foroverseeing a portfolio of competitions with varying complexity, value, and routes to market.Your expertise and guidance as their lead will be crucial in ensuring the best outcomes for the organisation and their customers while upholding compliance with relevant regulations and internal governance requirements.Who are they looking forThey are looking for a skilled individual that can work autonomously while also being able to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders, to enable them to deliver exceptional and improved services to their residents.You will have;

  • a comprehensive knowledge Public Sector Procurement including the running of competitions under the PCR2015.
  • experience of running competitions and direct awards via Dynamic Purchasing Systems and Frameworks
  • the ability and experience in managing contracts effectively within a customer focussed organisation
  • the ability to critically evaluate information and challenge effectively
  • the proven ability to successfully run multiple different types of competitions concurrently balancing competing priorities.
  • Social Housing Procurement knowledge across multiple areas of operation.
