Job Description

The Client:National Museums Liverpool are the largest group of museums and galleries outside of London, looking after more than 20 buildings and employing over 600 staff. NML offers a supportive environment for everyone and pride themselves on creating memorable experiencesand challenging expectations for their customers.The Role:Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with NML to recruit a Procurement Business Partner to join their recently restructured procurement team. This is a fantastic growth opportunity for someone looking to expand their experience in a newly created,developing team;

  • Manage end-to-end procurement projects across a number of category areas, prioritising projects as you go
  • Ensure VfM is delivered, and procurement best practice followed to maximise commercial outcomes
  • Take charge of full tendering projects from initial specification through to contract award
  • Monitor organisations service providers, ensuring KPIs and SLAs are monitored and achieved
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant procurement legislation
  • Undertake supplier spend analysis
  • Advise other departments on procurement process and build relationships with key stakeholders to take projects forward
  • Support and deputise for the Head of Procurement when required
The Person:
  • Previous experience working in the Public Sector
  • Ability to manage projects in a range of categories
  • Track record of leading and delivering large procurement projects
  • Well-developed communication skills and IT literate
  • MCIPS or working towards
