Job Description

My client, a successful healthcare business near Kirkby is recruiting an experienced Practice Manager to manage their site. You must have recent experience of working as a Deputy Practice Manager or Practice Manager within either a healthcare or a regulatedCQC environment. As this role is urgent my client will interview immediately, if you feel you have the relevant skill set below then please get in touch!Key Responsibilities:

  • Assign roles and monitor performance of administrative staff
  • Establish, organise training requirements
  • Ensure staff are trained to the level of competency required for their position
  • Develop and implement effective staff appraisal and monitoring systems
  • Monitor staff sickness and follow procedures to support staff as they return to work
  • Maintain administration and clinical staff rotas and manage annual leave requirements
  • Perform telephone audits to assist in training and staff development
  • Organise formal stock checks at agreed intervals
  • Initiate stock purchases and the recording of relevant transactions as required
  • Oversee the procurement of practice equipment, supplies and services
  • Ensure Monitor computer system audits and generate activity as required
  • Office Manager to ensure both administration and clinical rotas are uploaded in a timely manner
  • Enhance practice standards through engaging in audit
  • Ensure effective co-ordination between OOH and in-house care regimes
  • Integrate practice activity with that of complementary staff (health visitor, mental health worker, phlebotomist, and dietician and district nurse)
  • Review Health & Safety policy and procedures and react promptly to changes in legislation
Skills Required:Must have recent experience working in a similar Deputy PM, Practice Manager, Office Manager role (CQC environment)Experience of managing admin staff and clinical staff is essentialUse of EMIS - would be desirableProficient in microsoft officePossess a good sense of humour, with a professional and direct manner is key for this roleExcellent communication skillsMust be hardworking, able to roll your sleeves upTarget driven to meet deadlinesSalary £30k-£35k, depending on experience, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, pension, 37.5 hours per week (on a rotation basis) car park
