Post Foundation Fellow - Ophthalmology Medical RetinaFixed Term 10 Sessions per weekApplications are invited for a fully funded post of Post Foundation Fellow in Medical Retina/Uveitis at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust - Aintree Site to commence as soon as possible for a period of one year.The department provides tertiary referral service to local and regional population and is well equipped with state of art digital imaging system including Spectralis OCT, Ultrasound, Pascal and Sub Threshold laser and latest generation Phacoemulsification machines.In conjunction with rheumatologist and other multi-disciplinary specialities it is one of the three National centres of Excellence for Bechet’s disease.The post will provide excellent experience in all areas of Medical Retina including Age Related Macular Degeneration and Intravitreal treatments, Ocular Inflammatory Disorders along with Immune-Suppression Clinics as well as General Ophthalmology and Cataract Surgery.There is an excellent Research opportunity as the department has facilities to run clinical trials.
