EQs purpose is to care for every customer and simplify every transaction, deliveredwith less of an impact on the environment.EQs vision is to be the leading global share registrar, offering complementary services to its client base.Role SummaryThe MyCSP IT & Software Services team is responsible for the support of and change to the Compendia Administration system, as well as providing advice, guidance and support to the business across a range of technical disciplines.This role will be working as part of the MyCSP Systems Service Desk where you will ensure that all Incidents and Requests received via Phone, Email or in Person are logged accurately on our service management tool.Business FunctionBy investing in the latest technology and business processes, we are also one of the UKs most efficient providers of outsourced services to both public and private sector organisations. We are a mutual joint venture partnership between employee partners, who own 25% of the company held in trust for them by MyCSP Trust Company Ltd, and our private sector partner and Equinitis pension business, EQ Paymaster.Key Responsibilities

  • Provide effective Tier 1 and Tier 2 Compendia support to end users across all MyCSP sites (including account / access management)
  • The role will work within a team to provide service for the Compendia Service desk.
  • Adhere to the Service Desk policies processes - supporting the standardisation and continuous improvement process ensuring that processes remain fit-for-purpose and contribute to the delivery of the MyCSP balanced score card.
  • Supporting technical solutions to enhance the operation of the business.
  • Ensuring Incidents and Requests in your queue are managed and that work items do not breach their SLAs.
  • Help build and maintain with integrity the Systems Service Desk knowledge base ensuring that information is kept accurate and up to date.
  • Take ownership developing any new documentation or processes that you feel are missing or need updating, ensuring that they are also peer checked and authorised before being issued as live documentation.
  • Resolving defects raised by the MyCSP Test Function and Operations.
  • Supporting and working with other members of the Applications team.
Knowledge, Skills & ExperienceEssential
  • Previous experience in a pensions/financial services environment.
  • Experience of working on a Service Desk Working to SLAs.
  • The successful candidate should have good numerical and logic skills, and strong academics.
  • Have strong problem-solving/process improvement experience along with working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills engaging at all levels of the business.
  • Must have a good knowledge of pension products.
  • Have a background in providing remote, telephone and email support.
  • Are enthusiastic, confident and willing to learn, have a can do attitude.
  • GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English Grade C or above.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office applications.
  • IT Literate.
Desirable
  • Has awareness of PSCPS and or UK Public Sector Pensions and Pensioner Payroll.
  • Experience of Pension Administration Systems - ideally Compendia.
  • ITILv3 Foundation Level.
  • Basic SQL experience.
  • Formal IT Qualifications.
