Job Description

**Payroll Manager (Standalone) - 28k-32k - Hybrid Working / Part or Full Time**Page Personnel are extremely excited to be partnering with an Accountancy Firm business based in Liverpool. They are looking to recruit a Payroll Manager on a permanent basis.Payroll experience is a essential to this role. Bureau/umbrella payroll is desirable.Implementing a new system is advantageous.Client DetailsThis client are a massively growing Accounting firm, they are a dedicated and professional business. They are looking for a Payroll Manager (standalone) to join their busy Accountancy Firm based in Liverpool on a permanent full or part-time basis.The successful candidate will be a self-motivated person who exceeds working towards tight deadlines. The Payroll Manager (standalone) will have solid payroll background as this will be a standalone position ideally bureau/umbrella but will consider someonewith strong payroll background that has supported a payroll system implementation.The role will be helping to implement and grow a new payroll function including: implementing a new system, helping the payroll to migrate over, growing the payroll function and client base.This role can be part or full time, flexible hours and hybird working based on the right candidate.DescriptionThe Payroll Officer key responsibilities will be:

  • Implementing new system base from scratch
  • Process multiple client payroll start to finish
  • Ability to work towards tight deadlines.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Processing starters, leavers and calculating holiday pay.
  • Calculating the payroll
  • Running the payslips
  • Knowledge of PAYE/NI/other payroll deductions
  • Processing of P45s, P60s
  • RTI submissions
  • Pension administration with various pension providers
  • Auto-enrolment duties
ProfileThe successful candidate MUST have:
  • Solid payroll background / bureau or umbrella desirable
  • Good system knowledge to help with implementation
  • Knowledge of PAYE/NI
  • Ability to work independent for standalone role
  • The ability to help grow the client base
  • Computer skills including; Excel, Outlook
