It is a school moving forwards at pace with a very strong mixed Sixth Form. They are an integral part of the local community and are very familyorientated with a strong Catholic ethos. They are seeking to appoint a reliable, organised and efficient person to join the Pastoral Team on a fixed term basis until 19th July 2024.Duties will be varied and candidates will be committed to the safeguarding and welfare of our children. The person appointed would be responsible for pastoral support, working within a wider team of pastoral officers, supported by a Senior Pastoral Leader.Are you good at managing, supporting and motivating a large group of boys Yes, then we have the right job for you!

  • Previous experience of a busy school, directly supporting and developing the pastoral needs of pupils is essential.
  • Good communication skills are vital as is the ability to work as part of a team and to remain calm in stressful situations.
  • The person must be able to maintain full confidentiality.
  • The post will be subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS Disclosure.
