Job Description

Page Personnel are working hand in hand with this reputable financial services business to recruit for a Operations Executive.This role is based in their busy Liverpool city centre office and will offer hybrid working.Client DetailsThis reputable business has over 100 years experience in being market leaders in what they do! With over 1,000 employees you will certainly be joininga friendly organisation with a massive scope for progression.DescriptionThis operations executive role will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Monitor trade flow between Northern Trust and HSBC to ensure the settlement cycle is complete.
  • Update and distribute client supplied prices for hard to value assets to HSBC.
  • Complete reconciliations between Charles River and HSBC to ensure the internal system is accurate.
  • Update daily performance spreadsheets for Onshore and Offshore Funds.
  • Distribute fund valuations to the investment teams.
  • Inform external ACDs of trading activity.
  • Arrange the setup of new securities with HSBC, ensuring all data is provided accurately.
  • Complete a holdings reconciliation between HSBC Custody and Charles River data via a monthly holding check.
  • Complete oversight checks on HSBC pricing via a fortnightly pricing check.
  • Carry out the investment teams instructions regarding corporate actions, advising the custodian of voting decisions.
  • Resolve trade/valuation discrepancies when notified by Fund Managers/Compliance.
  • Ensure FX hedge positions are correct within Charles River and advise HSBC of any amendments to FX hedge targets and tolerances.
  • Liaise with counterparties and HSBC regarding the set-up of new CIS accounts.
  • Place mutual fund trades via online platform Calastone.
  • Provide monthly data to third parties.
  • Supply information to the offshore ACD, FundRock.
