Search consultancy are looking for a Lead operations cleaning manger to cover the North West of England .This role is based within the Bulk Operations department based at the Port of Liverpool.Role Purpose: To lead and undertake cleaning duties following instructions from the supervisor.These areas will include working at heights, in confined spaces and on and near to conveyor belt systems.Hours of Work:Monday - Sunday 7pm - 7am - Flexibility is required Monday Sunday to meet business needsSalary :£26000The role will include the following responsibilities:*Lead a team of cleaners whilst also being a working member of the team- temp and perm *Lead and undertake routine cleaning and basic maintenance of mobile plantLead and undertake painting and other duties to improve the appearance and ability to clean Bulk operational areas*Report any incidents and hazard observations to the supervisor*Give recommendations of the areas to be cleaning*Other physical duties such as valve opening, magnet cleaning, movement of bin lids and removal of guards*Full commitment to the requirements of TASCC and GAFTA accreditationApplicants interested in this role should ideally possess the following skills and experience:*Experience of industrial cleaning*Supervisory experience*Knowledge of conveyor belt systems is desirable*Knowledge of food products and food safety standards*Ability to work at heights and within confined spaces*A team player with excellent communication skills*Full driving licenceSearch is an equal opportunities recruiter and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified applicants, regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age
