The role will be based at the global Vitaflo head office which is situated just outside of Liverpool citycentre.This is an exciting time to join the team inorder to support and streamline the practical laboratory activities of the NPD department. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic capable of delivering to tight deadlines.If you have experience of direct line management then that is great! Alternatively, if you feel you are ready to step into a line management position then please don’t hesitate to apply, explaining why you would be a great fit for the role.What can you expectAs the NPD Laboratory Team Leader, your main responsibilities will consist of the following:

• Overall responsibility for development kitchen and activities within the area to provide support to the NPD team
• Management of Laboratory Assistant to achieve together key output of assisting the NPD Team with laboratory based activities.
• Manage raw material stock control and support product trials through ordering, preparing and weighing raw materials
• Maintaining laboratory/kitchen standards including equipment management,cleaning and calibration. Also supporting audits
• Coordinate the shipment of materials where applicable to support NPD Technologists during trials
• Prepare product samples for analysisand laboratory testing of trial products
• Support the Sensory and Research & Development function as reasonably requested

• Proficient in IT packages inclusive of Word, Excel and Outlook
