Job Description

If you are looking for an exciting new role, this is a great opportunity to join the Neighbourhoods Team at Prima.We are now looking for a Neighbourhood Housing Officer to join our busy team in Columbus Quay, Liverpool!Salary £29,420 per annum plus Essential Car User AllowanceAs a Neighbourhood Housing Officer you will be part of a professional, dedicated and customer focused team with responsibilities to provide a comprehensive housing management service.Our Neighbourhood Housing Officer post is a varied role, working with customers, communities and partners to deliver first class services and sustain tenancies. A key part of the role is to embed neighbourhood plans, manage voids and lettings, and dealwith anti-social behaviour effectively to create vibrant neighbourhoods to live in.Neighbourhood Housing Officer Duties:

  • Develop local neighbourhood knowledge to inform the development of Neighbourhood Plans, which respond to the opportunities and challenges in our neighbourhoods.
  • Deliver Neighbourhood Plans and neighbourhood management actions, monitoring the impact of our work.
  • Build local effective partnerships to improve services, training and work opportunities for tenants and identify development or service opportunities for Prima.
  • Collaborate with compliance colleagues to manage any risks within the neighbourhood, to deliver safe and sustainable homes and neighbourhoods.
  • To undertake any other duties in order to achieve personal, team and organisational objectives
Neighbourhood Housing Officer Requirements:
  • Good knowledge and awareness of related housing regulations/ law
  • Experience of delivering face to face customer service with the ability to have honest conversations with customers.
  • Experience of developing partnership working with support agencies, local authorities and community groups.
  • Good understanding of the social, economic and political context in the neighbourhoods in which we operate.
  • Good understanding of welfare reform.
  • Experience working in an RP, not for profit or public-sector organisation.
  • Experience of using ICT systems - housing management, CRM systems
  • and Microsoft office software.
  • Full driving licence and use of a car for work
  • Mobile working required
  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent

Desirable:
  • Understanding of an asset-based approach to working with people and communities
  • Understanding of social return on investment
  • Relevant professional qualification or recognised degree
