Cpl are looking for a Microbiologist in the Merseyside area to join a leading Pharmaceutical organisation. The successful applicant will form part of QC Microbiology team and will be required to work on a shift pattern basis.Position: Microbiologist Location: LiverpoolSalary: 17.48 per hourEmployment type: Temporary until JuneThere are currently 2 roles available on an initial temporary contract until June, due to an increase in workload on site, with a view to being extended. You will form a key member of QC supporting timely product release. This role will require you to work on a shift basis. Role:Performing QC Microbiological tests on in-process, intermediate and finished vaccine productsPerform Bioburden, LAL, EM (Environmental Monitoring) and TVC to support site microbiology activitiesEnsure all laboratory testing and generated results are to cGMP standardBe involved in OOS/OOT investigations in the GLIMS systemReview and update site SOPs where necessary and closure of CAPAsHelp with troubleshooting of microbiological testingBe involved in technical and validation studiesRequirements:Experience in cGMP environmentBSc (or equivalent) in Microbiology or related subjectIndustrial experience on pharmaceutical microbiological testingKnowledge of continuous improvement and root cause analysisIf you would like to apply for this position, please use the link provided.
