Job Purpose: The Marketing Automation Specialist position will assist with the development and delivery of automation campaigns and strategies. This individual will pursue continued learning of Marketing Automation best practices to enhance the executionof Tech Data and Vendor branded campaigns and maximize customer value and campaign results. This role will support multiple B2B business units and digital marketing activities.Accountabilities:Prepare modern marketing emails and campaigns based on MarketingAutomation processLead delivery of web based campaign approaches and assets around AEM platformPerform QA process for emails, landing pages, forms, and other automation piecesAssist with data hygiene, system maintenance and lead managementAssist in list management(Data List and imports)Monitor program performance and develop necessary reports/reporting structureParticipate in strategy, customer journey design and content development for new campaignsSupport program development for all business unitsParticipate in setupof A/B testing of Marketing Automation programsParticipate with continued assessment of new platforms and integrations to enhance Marketing Automation performanceParticipate in cross-functional digital marketing projects that include Marketing AutomationKnowledgeSkills and Experience:Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business/Marketing Operations or equivalent experience8 plus years experience in marketing space with a technical focusLooking for experience of Marketo, Hubspot, Pardot or Eloqua - we are happyto train on our platform as part of on-boarding2 year (or more) AEM or similar experience2 years experience of monitoring and using data to adopt data-driven marketing decisions and campaign plansExperience participating in planning integrated digital marketingplansUnderstanding and proven practice of the following tactics: testing frameworks such as, deliverability, A/B split testing, and trackingProblem solving ability and consideration of process improvementsExcellent organizational and communications skillswith a strong attention to detailWeb development and digital design skills (HTML preferred, but not required)Knowledge of Google Analytics Tag Manager, Google Universal Analytics and general web tracking desirable#LI-RS1 Cultural Competency Requirements: WithinTech Data diversity is one of our fundamental shared values.
