By using the devolved powers we have, we can make a real and meaningful difference to the lives of thepeople living and working in the Liverpool City Region.Since being created in 2014 and becoming a Mayoral Combined Authority in 2017 the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority has grown exponentially.Job RoleThe Legal Officer will work as part of a team who provide a comprehensive administrative support service to the Legal, Democratic Services and Procurement team. The work of this post will involve the utilisation of a Civica case managementsystem for the preparation of accurate paperwork in respect of Mersey Tunnels Police prosecutions, administration of fixed penalty matters, maintenance of accurate electronic records, diary management for Chief Legal Officer and other officers and generaladministrative support for the Legal, Democratic Services and Procurement Team.You will have the knowledge and/or experience in the use of electronic case management systems, be IT literate and be able to manage own workload with minimal supervision. You should have good communication skills, drafting skills with attention to detailand be able to work under pressure and to tight deadline. You will have administrative support experience.You must have a minimum of 4 GCSEs or equivalent and be prepared to undertake any relevant training.This role represents a great opportunity to work within the LCRCA to help us achieve our aim.Whats in it for youWe are an extremely busy and fast-moving team and with that comes a varied and interesting caseload.We work a 35 hour week with flexible working allowing you the flexibility to start and end your working day at various times and potential flexibility of some homeworking.
