Job Description

Legal Drafter - Liverpool City CentreTo be considered for this role, you must have Part 7 Litigation Experience.Purchasing Professionals are pleased to be working with an established and growing legal firm in stunning offices, based in Liverpool City Centre for an experienced Operations Manager.This firm provides a unique, innovative and collaborative solution, to the Civil Litigation legal sector and has grown to in excess of 450 staff in four UK locations and continues to grow year on year.As a Legal Drafter, you will provide technical support and guidance to Solicitors, Fee Earners, Legal Assistants within one of group law firms.Duties will include:

  • Preparation for and drafting of written advice in relation to matters such as liability, quantum, and evidence
  • Preparation for and drafting of documents to include pleadings, applications, and witness statements
  • Dealing with correspondence and telephone calls
  • Ensuring compliance with the SRA Code of Conduct 2011 and/or the Bar Standards Board Handbook
  • Effective use of Case Management System
  • Efficiently and effectively manage your own workload to adhere to SLAs and KPIs
  • Effective communication with individual and business contacts
  • Attending and participating in weekly case clinics
  • Assist in training members of staff within the drafting team.
The successful candidate will have a Solicitor Qualification (Desirable), and Part 7 litigation experience from commencing proceedings all the way through to trial, including attending CMCs and making interim applications.Other Requirements:
  • Experience in drafting Particulars of Claim.
  • Multi track experience is preferable with Fast Track litigation experience a must
  • Experience within a similar Legal Drafting role preferable.
  • Knowledge of the industry advantageous.
