Job Description

Lead Physicist in Nuclear Medicine£45,656 to £57,770+ Hybrid Working + BenefitsLiverpoolIRS Ltd is a leading provider of medical physics and radiation protection services in the UK who are seeking to expand their consultancy team to support business growth. Currently the company has its headquarters and main office in Liverpool but also has asatellite office in Lichfield. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an RPA2000 certificated Medical Physics Expert in Nuclear Medicine. You will be an HCPC State Registered Clinical Scientist with at least 3 years post registration experience working as a Medical Physicist in NuclearMedicine. Applicants who do not have the required level of experience will be considered at a lower salary banding. Equally, more experienced applicants who might wish to further develop their career in a dynamic business environment will also be consideredwith an appropriate remuneration package.Key Responsibilities

  • The role involves travel to hospital sites in Yorkshire, Lancashire and the Midlands. You will also be required to supervise and mentor trainees seeking MPE certification and state registration.
  • Participation in research and development will be actively encouraged, along with involvement in IRSs long-standing teaching programme. IRS has established links with University and Government research establishments throughout the Europe.
Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • RPA2000 certified MPE
  • HCPC State Registered Clinical Scientist in Nuclear Medicine
  • At least 3 years post registration experience working as a Medical Physicist in Nuclear Medicine
  • Key personal attributes for the role include a positive outlook, customer focussed, excellent interpersonal skills and an open mind
