Youll be a highly experienced Solicitor / Associate / Partner who has enjoyed a successful career within the Cat PI / Large Loss industry and now youre eager to take on your next challenge within a growing and successful business. Business Development and existing client relationships come naturally to you, as youll be more than capable of driving new contract wins for your company.Your role will be to Identify opportunities and market leading strategies in the defendant large loss and catastrophic injury legal services sector of the insurance industry, delivering business growth together with a positive impact on the financial results of the business.Key Duties and Responsibilities• To devise, promote and agree strategic and tactical initiatives with existing and potential insurer partners• Drive the application of strategies through the Defendant Large Loss and Catastrophic Injury Team• The implementation of the strategy, operational plans, policies, procedures and agreed targets• The assessment and control of risk and quality of service across the Defendant Large Loss and Catastrophic Injury Team• The prioritisation and allocation of resources• Monitoring, leading and reporting of competitive and regulatory forces within the market - to both insurance clients and internal teams• Senior account management of the Defendant Large Loss and Catastrophic Injury insurer contracts• Senior business representative at major industry events and conferences, ensuring the business is professionally represented with conduct and knowledge• Thought leadership in the defendant large loss and catastrophic injury insurance sector• Growth of the defendant large loss and catastrophic injury team delivering new contract and opportunitiesExperience & Knowledge• Qualified solicitor • Strong market presence• Strong leadership and communication skills• Extensive knowledge of the defendant large loss and catastrophic injury sector and the associated insurance market• Track record of innovation within the defendant large loss and catastrophic injury sector• Member of sector bodies e.g. FOIL and working to the FOIL standardRoberts Webb Recruitment are acting as a Recruitment Agency in relation to this role.
