Job Description

Key Stage 1 Qualified Teacher - Apply Now in St Helens Here at Milk Education, we are looking for a Qualified Primary School Teacher to work in a 2 Form Entry Primary School based St Helens to work on a flexible basis to cover pre-planned absences and weekly sicknesses.This friendly and supportive school is looking for aKey stage 1 Class Teacher to work for 1 term to support a teachers absence on medical leave.Ourregistration processat Milk-Education issuper easy, all done online 4 simple stepsand can be worked around out of school hours. Our target is to have teachers cleared and vetted within48 hours- no hasslefor you!Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and teach well-structured, differentiated lessons that are aligned to the agreed curriculum and cultivate every students intellectual curiosity
  • Manage behaviour effectively to create a safe, respectful and nurturing environment enabling students to focus on learning
  • Actively promote the safety and welfare of our children and young people
  • Ensure compliance with Arks data protection rules and procedures
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with KeyStage 1, with a good knowledge of the Curriculum
  • Strong behaviour management with a flexible teaching style
  • Enthusiastic, creative and passionate delivery of lessons
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Must hold a QTS status, such as a PGCE, B.Ed.
  • Teaching in a UK Primary School or British International School in the last two years
  • Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
