Job Description

Looking towards the futureNeed a change in role in JanuaryMilk-Education have the solution- READ ON!We are working with a school within the Woolton area who are starting the process now and are looking for passionate learning support assistants to support a child in YR6 supporting a Child with additional needs.You will be supporting the pupil with wheelchair usage, no SEND however personal care is a need. You will also be assisting with their learning and development in small groups or on a 1-2-1 basis.The role is long term as the school has funding and would prefer a candidate that can commit to the role on a long term basis.Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with the pupil on a 1-2-1 basis
  • Ensuringsafeguardingis kept to a high standard throughout the day
  • Supporting the class teacher across the whole class
  • Uphold a strong classroom presence whilst motivating and inspiring all pupils
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Previous and recent experience of working in a Primary orSENSchool or any Education/residentialsetting
  • Strong behaviour management with a flexible approach
  • Enthusiastic, creative and passionate delivery of the National Curriculum
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Hold a relevant teaching assistant or childcare qualification (Level 1, 2 or Level 3) or relevant experience please also apply
  • Have previous experience within the past last two years
  • Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
