Job Description

A Law Practice is looking to hire an IT Support Analyst - Legal Sector, to support the Service Desk Manager and team with 1st and 2nd line IT support based in Central Liverpool with excellent public transport linksClient DetailsOur client is a Central Liverpool based (excellent public transport access) Law Practice, looking to hire an IT Support Analyst - Legal Sector, in a 1st and 2nd line role. This is a great opportunity for stepping up into 2nd line support.DescriptionThe successful IT Support Analyst - Law Practice, will be providing core application support acting as a point of escalation within the support team for specialist application queries and will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the computer systems,hardware, software, and network infrastructure including:

  • To provide technical support; answering support queries either onsite or via phone or email
  • To maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service management principles (ITIL)
  • Liaison with 3rd parties to ensure the effective resolution of support calls
  • Taking ownership of user problems and being proactive dealing with user issues
  • Act as an escalation point for business critical application related queries such as phone system, case management, etc
  • Logging all calls on the service desk system and maintain full documentation/solutions
  • Respond to enquiries from clients and help them resolve any hardware or software problems
  • Support users in the use of Computer equipment by providing necessary training and advice
  • Keeping technical documentation up-to-date within the firms knowledgebase
ProfileReporting to the Service Desk Manager, the IT Support Analyst - Legal Sector will have exposure to:
  • Working within a busy support desk environment
  • Administering Microsoft technologies such as Exchange Online, Active Directory, Server 2019, Identity services, conditional access
  • Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook and Excel)
  • Microsoft Azure, Exchange Online, WVD and Intune technologies
  • Working within Virtualised & Hybrid Cloud environments
  • Administering and supporting Windows remote desktop and Citrix VDI
  • Working knowledge of security products such as Barracuda, Mimecast, Sophos & Windows defender
  • Understanding of computer networking and basic troubleshooting (Ideally HP Aruba products)
  • Ability to think, provide solutions and communicate well under pressure
  • Willingness to take on additional responsibility and learn
  • Excellent organisational and administration skills
  • Excellent telephone manner and face-to-face communication skills
Job OfferThe successful IT Support analyst will need to be available to work 9-5 (Monday to Friday) on site in the Central Liverpool office - Next to train and public transport. Offering up to £28,000 basic, including benefits you will have access to:
