Job Description

IT SUPPORT ROLE - 1 Month ContractI have an urgent Requirement for an IT support Role you will be assisting a large ecommerce site go live over the next month this will be a varied fast paced roleYou must be able to start this week with the following:Must Have

  • Surface Pro Device
  • Surface Pro Keyboard
  • Surface Pro Charger
  • Bluetooth Mouse
  • Surface Project Docking Station
  • Zebra Printer
  • Zebra Printer Charger
  • A4 Printer
  • Associated USB for A4 Printer
  • Pre-Go Live Support1 Full time member of support, solely dedicated to the project whose responsibilities would include:
  • Setting up of Surface Device (e.g. connecting to WIfi, downloading office)
  • Setting up of Zebra Printer ( e.g. country code issue, connecting to Surface device, installing drivers, ShipStation Test Print)
  • Packaging equipment in bundles once complete. (1 tote per store)
  • Post Go LiveOnce the kit arrives at the store, all the store will need to do is basic checks e.g plug kit in, test print.0.5 FTE member of Bell IT, whose responsibilities would include:
  • Support stores go live - being the point of contact via email when store have an issue during initial set up. This could be email address dedicated to this project in particular, this would ensure that queries are not going directly to the individual in the future.
  • Provide timely and pro-active contact with stores - e.g. schedules calls, working through a daily backlog of support queries
  • Tracking queries - e.g date & time issue was reported and resolved
  • Providing daily updated to PM of resolves queries. pending queries etc.
  • Documenting common issues
  • Producing support guides/Knowledge transfer articles that can be passed to the service desk to enable future support
