Job Description

Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting a Senior Infrastructure Analyst to join an expanding organisation in Merseyside. The role will have the option to be hybrid, with some office working required.The Role:

  • To provide 3rd line support, work on specific structures and to deal with day-to-day administration for hardware such as the network infrastructure, servers, desktops and mobiles. As the 3rd line of support, this roles acts as the escalation point for supportfrom 1st line of support and the Infrastructure Analyst
  • Oversee and manage specific IT projects such as SD Wan implementation, Server Patching, and migration of Co-location Virtual Servers to Cloud
  • Act as a member of wider Strategic Projects for the company as a representative of the IT and Network Team, helping to manage relationships with 3rd parties
  • Oversee installation and maintenance of both hardware and software across both offices in Merseyside and Cheshire, including documentation for issues, installs and implementations
  • To be able to deputise for the Network and Infrastructure Manager during periods of annual leave or any other absences from work
  • Ensure that all IT assets and resources are used efficiently and within the remit of the company Value for Money strategy
The Person:
  • Experienced in both 3rd line support and managing and delivering network/infrastructure projects to a deadline
  • Experienced in a wide range of software and technology
  • Strong work ethic both as a strong and coherent member of a team and individually
  • Personable skills and the ability to communicate clearly and confidently to both a technical and non-technical audience
