Job Description

Resourcery Group are supporting a global manufacturing company to bring on board an operationally focused Finance Manager. This fixed term contract role is for 12-14 months to support the Site General Manager have a deeper understanding in their cost base.This role offers hybrid working; a combination of Liverpool and Working from Home with occasional travel to operational sites.The Operational Finance Managers role:

  • To be the Finance Business Partner to the Site General Managers of 2 sites to have insight into their key financial metrics
  • Manage a lead a small team of 3 people
  • Produce the operational costs on a weekly and monthly basis and present these to the senior leadership team
  • Ensure that the Operations and Commercial teams are fully up to speed with the management accounts and any issues that they may have within them for redress/monitoring
  • Manage the production of the budgets for the production sites
  • Manage capital expenditure and review return on capital employed
  • Projects to look at include reviewing the wastage and stock losses
  • Liaise with auditors (internal and external) to ensure that internal controls are adhered to
The ideal candidate:
  • A fully qualified accountant - CIMA/ACA/ACCA
  • Have worked in a manufacturing or FMCG sector before
  • Preferably with multi-site experience and have produced consolidated reports
  • Have strong presentation skills and be able to communicate with a non-finance audience
  • Finance Business Partner with operations knowledge
