Job Description

This large, US-Listed organisation on the outskirts of Liverpool are currently recruiting for an experienced Interim Financial Accountant on a 6 month fixed term contract.Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, your core duties will include;

  • Consolidation of monthly UK accounts
  • Preparation of UK statutory accounts
  • Budget & Forecast consolidation
  • Corporation tax computation preparation
  • VAT compliance
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors
  • Ad hoc reporting for other stakeholders including banking, pension trustees, Group Finance team
  • Commercial support to Finance Director and further senior management at month end
  • Packaging waste and plastic packaging tax compliance
Key requirements;
  • Financial Accountant ideally with experience of US Listed organisations
  • Advanced Excel with the ability to manage large quantities of data
  • Strong PowerPoint skills
  • Energetic and can be flexible in a fast-moving environment
  • Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
  • Experience of working with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical matters to non-finance employees
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise a demanding workload
