We are now looking for an Income Officer to join our Income & Support Team in Liverpool!As an Income Officer, you will monitor accounts, providing advice and guidance to customers in relation to income collection and welfare benefits and making sure that appropriate tenancy support is provided to sustain tenancies. You will maximise incomecollection by managing cases of current and former customers in arrears, or those identified as being at risk of non-payment.This post offers a mixture of onsite and remote working.Salary: £29,420 per annum + Essential Car User AllowanceIncome Officer Duties:As a member of the Income & Support Team, youll play a key role in providing advice and guidance to customers about rent payments and welfare benefits. Providing a customer focused income management service, you will work with customers to maximise rentcollection, looking at preventative arrears work and providing money advice to help support our customers to have successful tenancies. Ensuring customer accounts are well managed, youll have honest conversations with customers about their responsibilitiesto pay their rent on time and regularly, helping them make informed choices and signposting where further support is needed. Building effective relationships with colleagues and external partners, youll look at how we can collaborate with others to keep peoplein their homes wherever possible, and escalating cases where this might not be possible.
